Aspendos is an ancient Greco-Roman city close to Antalya. It was founded at around 1000 B.C. Today, the theatre survives and open to visits. It is in good condition and hosts Aspendos International Opera and Ballet annually.
It is a 48 km drive from the large Turkish city of Antalya.
