Chora (Turkish: Kariye) is a museum which was originally built as a church, then used as a mosque, and finally made a museum. It is located on the European side of Istanbul.

When you go to Chora, you will see a church with great interior paintings and some nice & quiet cafes surrounding it.

Ask for public transportation that will take you to Kariye. The web of public transportation is quite developed in Istanbul
